Morro Jable Dive Centre - ,

A highly professional team of diving instructors and dive masters which provide daily boat dives and instruction following PADI, SSI & CMAS standards. FREE nitrox is available for Nitrox certified divers.

Location
The dive centre is located in Aldiana Fuerteventura, situated above the Atlantic Ocean on the peninsula of Janida, next to the village of Morro Jable.

Facilities
There is a free bus transfer from the hotels in the area to the centre. The dive boats are equipped with oxygen, a radio and first aid kit. The centre has BCD’s, regulators with octopus depth gauge and inflator, masks, fins, snorkels, wetsuits, dive computers, underwater lights and cameras available to rent. There are 100 steel tanks (12 litres, DIN + INT) which are filled from 2 Coltri Compressors. Nitrox is available free of charge for divers with a Nitrox certification. Personal diving gear is stored in boxes at the dive centre and is transported to the dive boats by the staff.

Diving
Diving in Fuerteventura includes reefs, overhangs, caves and caverns and gives the opportunity to see barracudas, mackerels, tuna, angel sharks, rays, sepias, dolphins and even Mantas and whale sharks amongst others. There is also a house reef which is 3-8 meters deeps and is great for night dives and open water training dives. There is a range of dive sites which are good for beginners as well as advanced divers and also underwater photographers. Local dive sites are within 10-30 minutes, except Salinas which is 50 minutes away. This can be known as one of the most beautiful diving areas in Fuerteventura. Spacious and modern Zodiacs are used for whole day dives and trips will depart from either the beach directly in front of the centre or from the harbour (transfer by car from the centre). Night dives and Nitrox dives are also available.

Dive Courses
PADI OW and Referral courses include use of equipment. Advance OW courses are Tanks & Weights. Re-breather courses are also available at the centre. Flipper diving is a course available to children over the age of 8. It takes place in the swimming pool where children learn diving skills. Introductory trial dives take place in the pool several times a week.
 

Dive Packages
Packages with your own equipment will include tanks, weight & weight belt. Packages with rental equipment include complete equipment, tanks, weight & weight belt. Diving computer and buoy are excluded.
 

Note: To participate in a diving couse or any other recreational diving activities, a medical statement signed by a physician is required by the law in Spain and therefore mandatory. The physical examination can be done by the resort's physician for a fee of €25. Scuba diving insurance and proof of it is also required by law for participation in any diving activities.
