A great alternative to Sharm El Sheikh. Less busy yet with all the services and access to great dive locations. Just under an hour’s transfer from Sharm El Sheikh airport. Accommodation ranges from simple to luxury hotels all 10 minutes from the local village with restaurants perched above the shore line, bars and markets. Bedouin camp & desert excursions offered including Mount Sinai and St Catherine’s Monastery. World class dive sites such as the ‘Canyon’ and the ‘Blue Hole’ together with an abundance of coral gardens and sheer drop offs. Nearly all the sites are accessible from the shore with boat dives available to sites north and south of Dahab. For the novice there are many shallow and stunning coral gardens that will make your first dives memorable ones.
