Manado, Far East & Australia

Located just a few degrees off the equator on the northern peninsula of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Manado is dominated by the peaks of two dormant volcanoes on land and a third peak which rises steeply from the sea in the centre of the bay. Bunaken Marine Park offers world class diving on pristine reefs and is home to the highest density and variety of marine life on the planet. Steep walls covered with soft corals and sponges are suitable for divers of all levels and experience. Large schools of Barracuda, Moray Eels, Napoleon Wrass, sea snakes, turtles, rays, tuna and giant jacks are common with several species of shark including hammerheads encountered at deeper depths. There are also a number of WWII wrecks.
