The rest of the island is relatively undeveloped, with small villages of white washed houses and windmills found dotted along the roadways.
Diving from Morro Jable, offers the chance to see schools of big and small fish, barracudas, mackerel and tuna. There are groupers, angel sharks, rays, sepias, dolphins and even mantas and whale sharks. In the rocky topography, the reefs, overhangs, caves and caverns, morays and congas, macro organisms, sea anemones and much more can be seen. In summer, you can even dive with whales. The centre is well set up for beginners, junior divers and those wishing to take further courses. Fuerteventura is also a major, year round holiday destination popular with those not wishing to scuba dive.
