Ask anyone about diving in Australia and they’ll immediately think of the Great Barrier Reef. It is the largest coral reef in the world and the only living structure visible from space. It runs some 2000 miles along the Queensland coast approximately 12 miles from the mainland. Dive the best Ribbon Reef sites including Pixie Pinnacles and Lighthouse Bommie plus the world famous Cod Hole where you dive with giant Potato Cod the size of a diver ! The long trip out to the remote Coral Sea is well worth the effort with pristine reefs, great visibility and lots of big pelagics. Osprey Reef and North Horn are a focal point for shark spotters.

Diving: Mike Ball Liveaboard

Tue Depart UK for Cairns via Singapore and Brisbane.
Wed Fly
Thu Arrive Cairns. Met and transferred to Spoilsport. At 18:00 hrs embark on a fabulous seven night 450 mile Coral Sea Safari including some of the best dive sites on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea.
Fri – Wed Enjoy six days of unlimited diving with guaranteed access to the Cod Hole and prime Ribbon Reef sites north of Cooktown, plus remote Coral Sea reefs. Experience Osprey Reef’s 40m visibility, encounter a variety of marine life from pygmy seahorses to manta rays, glide along plummeting walls and witness exciting shark action, and swim with big pelagics at North Horn.
Thu Disembark at 08:00hrs. Transfer to the airport for return flight to UK.

Location: A 30m luxury catamaran purpose built and powered for comfort, safety and stability.

Accomodation: A maximum of 28 divers in 14 comfortable twin or double cabins each with air-conditioning and ensuite shower & wc (except budget cabins which share). Budget and Club are inside cabins. Standard and Premium are outside cabins with oceanviews.

Facilities: Spacious air-conditioned lounge and saloon, alfresco deck and sundeck. Spoilsport has earned the reputation for sumptuous meals and excellent service. Complimentary soft drinks and Australian wine with dinner.

Diving: Huge dive deck with large camera tables and unique entry/exit platforms. Nitrox and Advanced PADI training onboard.
