Dive Sportif - Honduras Diving Holidays

The world’s second largest reef structure stretches down from Mexico and tails off at Honduras providing some exceptional diving. The tiny island of Utila, some 30 minutes flight from San Pedro Sula, is known for passing whale sharks which are seen throughout the year. The huge fish migrate through the channel between Roatan and Utila. The region is also home to many fascinating wrecks and remote sea mounts that are beacons for a variety of marine life.

Miami (1 night), Liveaboard (7 nights)

Fri Depart UK to Miami. Overnight Miami International Airport Hotel.
Sat Depart Miami to San Pedro Sula. Met and transferred to your charter flight for a scenic 30 minute journey to Utila. Transfer to the Utila Aggressor. The chef will serve a delicious dinner followed by a welcome briefing, which outlines the week’s exciting schedule.
Sun Dive briefing. The week begins with fabulous diving near Blackish Point and Old House. All dives are conveniently made from the swim platform onboard. A skiff is available for any shore excursions. Most guests enjoy up to five dives each day - only stopping for one of the many scrumptious meals or between dive snacks served aboard. Night dives are offered every evening.
Mon & Tue The journey continues north with a stop at the remote Coco’s Sea Mounts, where the ocean floor rises from hundreds of feet to only 40 feet from the surface. These sea mounts are far from Utila and Roatan, therefore, they are rarely visited by day boat divers. After exploring Coco’s, Utila Aggressor divers sample Roatan’s southwest and west end sites.
Wed & Thu After diving Roatan’s Taviana, Dolphin Caves and Wreck of the Aguila, the Aggressor heads west to Utila.
Fri The final dives of the week are at Cannary Bank. After lunch onboard, it is time to rinse and pack dive gear and download photos. Any onboard charges, such as gear rental, dive courses, boutique purchases, are settled on Friday. At 13:00hrs the boat docks at Utila Water Sports. Later that evening, the crew hosts a cocktail party at 17:30hrs. The Friday night meal is not included but the crew will assist you with your dinner reservations and arrange transportation to a local Utila restaurant.
Sat Checkout time is 08:00hrs. Transfer to Utila Airport for charter flight to San Pedro Sula. Depart flight for Miami to connect with UK overnight flight.
Sun Arrive UK.

Utila Aggressor

Location: A 100 ft yacht built and powered for comfort, safety and stability.

Accomodation: Six staterooms (5 with double and single berths and 1 quad), private toilet and shower, TV/DVD and porthole.

Facilities: Air-conditioned salon with entertainment centre and dining area, full service galley, sun deck with wet bar, hot tub and deck chairs. Computer with email access via satellite. Onboard safety equipment including defibrillator and D.A.N. oxygen system. Photo lab.

Diving: Large well designed dive deck with divers own personal dive station with seat and locker. Air/nitrox fills.
