SSI

Scuba School International was founded in 1970 and has now more than 2500 authorized dealers divided into 35 area departments all over the world. The training structure is pretty much similar to the one offered by PADI with the "learn to dive" section divided into Try Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver and equal in structure and price to PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver, while the junior courses are labeled under the name Scuba Rangers (8-12 years old).
