Cinnamon Island Alidhoo
Accommodation is made up of 99 Thatched Roof Villas, 46 Beach Villas, 7 Duplex Beach Villas, 45 Duplex Ocean Villas and 1 Cinnamon Suite. Notice to all potential guests - Due to the geographical nature of the island, beach erosion has become an important factor due to the ocean currents that causes the beach to move to different locations on the island every few months. Furthermore, the lagoon is currently not suitable for snorkeling and swimming.
In order to rectify this, the island have hired marine consultants to conduct an environmental study to provide a permanent solution. This solution will take time.However, in order to compensate the immediate needs of the guests, a FREE boat transfer operates twice a day to an uninhabited island about 10 minutes away from Alidhoo. The beach area on this island is available for guests as well as snorkelling and swimming in the shallow lagoon.
