Indian Ocean - Liveaboards

Exciting marine life abounds in the western Indian Ocean best summed up by the sheer quantity and size that can be seen. Diving holiday heaven. The Maldives is the perfect place to learn to dive from one of the idyllic island resorts, Or why not immerse yourself in diving from a dedicated liveaboards taking you to some of the less busy, pristine sites.
Mauritius and the lesser know nearby Island of Rodrigues offer widely contrasting holidays. The former with luxury hotels resorts and many options for relaxing and other activities. The latter to discover an island untouched by tourism and off the beaten track.
All provide first class facilities for diving and snorkelling, shallow water lagoons and more challenging dive sites for the advanced divers. Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Wreck and Drift Diving characterize most of the Indian Ocean dive sites with more sheltered dives closer to shore.
Maldives Aggressor - Maldives, Indian Ocean

A 115 ft steel yacht built and powered for comfort, safety and stability.
Accommodation: en luxury staterooms, each with a double and single berths or two single berths, en suite toilet and shower, individual climate control and port hole.
Facilities:Beautiful spacious salon, sun deck with shade and deck chairs. Computer with email access via satellite. Onboard safety equipment including complete first aid and oxygen. Photo/video centre.
Diving: is carried out from then ‘diving dhoni’. Each diver has his own seat and basket to store dive gear. Most guests make up to 3 -4 dives per day plus night dives. Air/nitrox fills.
Liveaboard (7 nights)
Sat Depart UK for overnight flight to Male.
Sun Arrive Male International Airport. Transfer to the Maldives Aggressor. The chef will serve a delicious dinner followed by a welcome briefing, which outlines the week’s exciting schedule.
Mon Dive briefing. The week begins with fabulous diving on Kuda Giri Wreck, steel wreck lying upright at 65 feet. Guraidhoo Corner, Sharks, Eagle Rays, Napoleon Wrasse and reef fish. Most guests enjoy up to five dives each day - only stopping for one of the many scrumptious meals or between dive snacks served aboard. Night dives are offered every evening.
Tue Kandooma Thila, dense schools of Jacks, Trevally and Snapper, large outcroppings with brilliant soft corals. Guraidhoo Corner, Sharks, Eagle Rays, schooling Bannerfish, Tuna, schooling Fusilier. Cocoa Corner, many caves and overhangs, Turtles and Black Snapper. Medhu Faru, sea fans, soft corals, Barracuda and Sharks.
Wed Guraidhoo Corner, Sharks, Eagle Rays, Napoleon Wrasse and reef fish. Miyaru Kandu, White-tip and Black-tip Sharks, cave at 108 feet is home to Grey Reef Sharks. Fotteyo, a photographer’s paradise, overhangs and cave ceilings are covered in soft coral, hard corals, Sharks, Titan Triggerfish, schools of Sweetlips, a remarkable dive.
Thu Fotteyo, it’s worth diving again! Rakeedhoo Kandu, a deep channel with coral terraces on the channel walls, lots of pelagics. Vattaru Kandu, large sea fans, Black Coral trees, occasional Leopard Sharks, schools of Fusilier, Turtles and Manta Rays.
Fri Mulaku Kandu, currents can be strong, but it attracts giant Trevally, Tuna, Great Barracuda, White-tip and Black-tip Sharks and Turtles. Rakeedhoo Kandu. Ambara Thila, hundreds of anemones, excellent hard corals, White-tip Sharks. Kudiboli Kandu, a corner with a cave at 82 feet, beautiful soft corals, White-tip and Black-tip Sharks.
Sat Guraidhoo Corner. Embudhoo Express, on a swift incoming current, pelagics, like Eagle Rays and Napoleon Wrasse are drawn to the channel. The 270-foot freighter, Victory Wreck, lies upright at 110 feet, nudibranches and stony corals. Manta Point, a Manta Ray cleaning station, when the cleaning is complete, they swoop down to the reef feeding on Zooplankton. Afternoon: snorkeling and visit to Malé. The Captain and crew host an evening cocktail party at 18:00hrs. Since dinner is not served onboard this evening, the crew will arrange transportation to a local restaurant.
Sun Checkout time is 08:00hrs. Transfer to Male airport for return flight or extend your stay on an island in the Maldives.

Note. Maldives taxes US$226 per person per week payable locally onboard.
A non-refundable deposit of 35% is required at the time of booking. Final balance due 15 weeks prior to departure.
