The Diving
The north west of Mauritius is regarded as the best for diving on the island and many of these dive sites are accessible from the Plantation resort. Diving in Mauritius caters well for all levels of divers from beginner up to advanced and the sheltered west coast, particularly the southern and northern ends have an array of reefs, predominantly rugged in nature with crags, overhangs, caverns and gullies, a common feature on the majority of dives. The main diving season is from October to May but with a good year round climate, it is possible to dive here most of the year.
