For your diving & liveaboard to Maldives, Indian Ocean, the The Vilamendhoo Island Resort and Spa is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white sandy beaches and onsite dive centre.

Location
Located in the southeast corner of the Ari Atoll, this oval Island is 900 metres long and 250 metres wide at its widest point approximately 5 acres. The Island has lush tropical vegetation, palm trees and is surrounded by a white sandy beach and a turquoise lagoon, ideal for snorkelling. Your seaplane transfer from Male' International airport is a scenic, 25 minutes flight.

Accommodation
The island has184 Rooms:13 Garden Rooms, 111 Beach Villas, 30 Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 30 Jacuzzi Water Villas. All rooms are air conditioned with attractive tropical decor a king size or two twin beds, private porch, mini bar, IDD telephone, ccable TV, DVD/CD player, high speed broadband Internet connection, safe, partially open-air (except Garden rooms) bathroom with rain shower, hair dryer,  bathrobe and slippers and beach towels for the duration of the stay.

Garden Rooms also have four poster bed, tile floor, closed bathroom, sundeck a lovely view of the tropical gardens and separated one from the other by a privacy screen.

Beach Villas (55 sqm) are located on the beach with a beautiful view of the lagoon, four poster bed, tile floor, partially open-air bathroom with double sinks and a small tropical garden.

Jacuzzi Beach Villas (65 sqm) are Beach Villas, more spacious, with wood floor, an iPod docking station, a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two "under the stars" and a wooden sundeck withchaise lounges.

Jacuzzi Water Villas (85 sqm) are located over-the-water, in the lagoon featuring a larger bedroom, wood floor, an iPod docking station/sound tower, a tea/coffee/espresso machine; partially open-air bathroom with double sinks, a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two "under the stars", a private wooden sundeck with chaise lounges, with stairs into the sea.

Children are welcome in the Garden View rooms and Beach Villas. Guests of 18 years and older are welcome in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas.

Facilities
There are two main restaurants offering buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in traditional open-air, sand floor dining rooms. The Funama Restaurant will be for guests staying in the Garden View rooms and the Beach Villas. The Ahima Restaurant will be for guests in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas. The all day dining snack menu and tea/coffee menu will be available at the Bar and Pool. "Optional" a la carte restaurants will include the over-the-water Asian Wok Restaurant, specializing in Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki, the Hot Rock Restaurant on the pool deck featuring seafood, steak or chicken cooked at your table on "hot rocks", Room Service and very special dinners are served on the beach. There are several bars and both indoors and out. The main swimming pool overlooks the beach with a children's wading pool. The over-the-water Duniye Spa offers a range of treatments and massages.There is an internet cafe and small gift shop.

Activities
Snorkelling, tennis, beach volleyball, badminton, table tennis billiards, petanque, bicycles, football and games room.  A complimentary boat trip and try sessions for tennis & windsurfing are available at scheduled times. Free use of Kayaks and windsurfers. Evening entertainment includes cultural dance show, disco,  movies, crab races, live band and  table tennis tournaments  for example.

Optional All Inclusive Plus Package includes:
Breakfast (0730 - 0930), Lunch (1230 - 1400), and Dinner (1930 - 2130), served in the Funama Restaurant for guests staying in the Garden Rooms and the Beach Villas and in the Ahima Restaurant for guests staying in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas, featuring "all you can eat" buffets.
Afternoon Tea served from 1500 to 1800 hours in the Bonthi Bar for guests staying in the Garden Rooms and the Beach Villas and in the Sunset Bar for guests staying in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas. Unlimited "all you can drink" alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages "all day - all night", including still water, house brand soft drinks, canned beer, house brand spirits and cocktail specials plus house wine. Mimi bar offers beer, soft drinks and bottled still water refilled once per day.
