Hurghada Dive Centre - Hurghada, Red Sea and Middle East

Since 1999 the Hurghada Dive centre has been providing fantastic diving in the Red Sea, they offer daily boat diving and have their own jetty at the centre.

Location
Based at the Swiss Inn Magawish Resort, the Centre offer complimentary pick up and drop off from your Hurghada hotel.

Facilities
They are a fully equipped PADI dive centre offering a range of instruction courses from beginner to specialist courses. Dive equipment is available to rent or there is storage if you are bringing your own. Dailly boat dives depart from the private jetty with most dive sites less than 60 minutes away. Specialist TDI courses are not available at the moment but  12 litre twin tanks and 12 litre stage tanks are availble for rental, with EAN mixes up to 40%, if you are certified.  Nitrox is available free of charge for guests. Underwater photography courses with on-site developing facilities are also available.

Diving
At the Centre you are able to complete your check dive and visit the house wreck.  From here there is a choice of day boat diving or 3 day mini liveaboards to the best north and south sites.  Giftun - known as the 'Paradise Island' locally is a favouite where you can also snorkel and look for the resident dolphins. There are 37 dives sites locally and the centre will schedule visits depending on local conditions and level of the group. Diving ranges from shelted, protected shallow sites to wall drifts with gorgonian fans, intense coloral reef as well as more advanced diving sites. Night diving is available on request.
 

Dive Courses

Courses include use of equipment, certification fee and necessary boat trips. PADI manual (approx Euro 45) is not included and payable locally.
 

Dive Packages

Includes 2 boat dives per day with guide, tank/weights.

Giftun Island Marine park fee payable locally approx Euro 3 per day. 


PLEASE NOTE
Red Sea diving packages - A government tax fee of minimum 3.00 Euro, per diver per diving day and per snorkel per day on board of a boat, is payable locally on arrival before diving/snorkelling can commence. All rental equipment must be booked and confirmed in advanced with additional payment to your diving package. Please bring your passport along with you for Red Sea boat diving to present to the Captain of the dive boat, as per local Government regulations. Lunch on day boat dives is not included and payable locally. The above fees can change without notice and will be confirmed at the dive centre on arrival.
