Before You Go
Before you go, here is a quick reminder of essential travel documents and other information you may need.
Passports
For a holiday abroad you will need a full 10 year Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity to all countries of the world. Make sure that it is valid for the duration of your holiday and for the country you are visiting. You need it for exchanging travellers cheques and currency. Please ensure that the names on the passports must match the names outlined on travel documents and tickets. It is the responsibility of all passengers to ensure that they comply with all the immigration requirements for the country to be visited. We can accept no liability for clients who have insufficient or incorrect documentation. All the above applies to British passport holders. Other nationalities must check with the relevant consulates in the UK.
VISAs and Health Requirements
Some countries also require travellers to have Visas and, unless stated on your invoice and travel documentation that we have supplied the Visa, it is the responsibility of all those travelling to ensure that they obtain these in good time before their date of travel. For Nationals from countries outside the UK, please refer to the relevant embassy or government office for more information and requirements.

IMPORTANT: New Health and Safety Protocols Coronavirus (Covid-19)
Before you travel please check the new Covid-19 travel regulations with your departure and arrival airport and allow extra time for check in and security due to new health and safety protocols introduced by the airports, airlines and customs authority. You may also find that compulsory wearing of mask and other regulations have now been introduced by local government and authorities when travelling, at airports or on airplanes, at your accommodation and in other public spaces including sports centres. This means that there may be reduced or restricted facilities available at the hotel and not as advertised on our website. Your booking is subject to this being acceptable and that you agree to follow all health and safety protocols whilst travelling and during your holiday.
Insurance
You are required to have the necessary travel insurance to book a holiday with us as part of our terms and conditions of business. We can accept your own independently sourced insurance as long as it will cover you for your chosen activities you have booked through us, including diving to the depth you are qualified for. If you do not have an insurance policy that covers scuba diving, Sportif recommend that you book a comprehensive general travel policy that will cover you to the depth you are qualified to dive to plus any other activies to include third party liabiltiy insurance. You should not dive below this depth as this may invalidate your insurance.
Please insure that you take your insurance confirmation or certificate with you when travelling. You may be refused access to diving if you do not provide evidence of current insurance at the dive centre.

The law in Spain requires you to have a medical sign off that you are healthy with no pre-existing conditions.
PADI
Before participating in diving packages (both shore and boat diving or PADI courses, programmes, all qualified and student divers must complete paperwork, such as a brief scuba medical questionnaire that ask about medical conditions that could be a problem while diving. To check you are fit and well for diving, you must not have any pre-existing conditions as outlined on downloadable forms below:
