Q. If I am travelling alone, will there be a single supplement?
Most hotels and accommodation will require a single supplement when booking a single occupancy room. However, this depends on the resort in which you choose to stay. Please speak to one of our team for more information.
Q. When will I receive my travel documents?
Approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure by email and through our document delivery App which you need to download on your phone before travelling. Documents can be sent by post if advised in advance.
Q. What if I am unsure whether the destination is suitable for my level?
Our experienced team will help and advise you to choose the holiday that most fits your needs. We work closely with our partners in resort and can answer your questions, no matter how technical, regarding your specific requirements.
Q. How much time do I need to leave to check in at the airport?
Please ensure that you arrive at least 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to leave. Passengers arriving late for check in or at the departures gate may be refused travel by the airline with no refund.
Q. How much baggage allowance is included?
At the time of booking (and confirmed on your ETicket) we will state, on our invoice, if baggage is included in the price. Please ensure that you have the correct baggage allowance and number of items for the airline you are travelling with. Baggage allowances can be changed at any time by the airlines and we are not always advised. Please be sure to check the latest allowances and other restrictions on the airlines website before arriving at the airport or excess baggage charges may apply at check in or carriage may be refused.
Q. Do I need to book my sports equipment before I arrive at the airport?
Yes, all sports equipment should be booked and paid forin advance directly to the airline before you arrive at the airport. Some airlines will not accept additional baggage over specified dimensions and weight and some do not carry large sports equipment. Please be sure to check these restrictions with the airline directly before you travel or excess baggage charges may apply at check in or carriage may be refused.
Diving equipment should be included in your baggage allowance. If this means you will go over your personal baggage allowance you will need to pre-book and pay for this in advance to ensure your equipment will be accepted by the airline.
Q. Is damage insurance covered in my equipment rental or instruction fee?
Damage to rental equipment is usually covered in instruction packages. However, damage liability is not covered in the rental costs. You can either take a liability waiver insurance at the centre on arrival, or provide a credit card to cover any damage and then claim back on your insurance on your return from your holiday. Please be sure to get a receipt for any damage paid for in resort from the centre, to send to the insurance company to help with any claim. Please note that any damage waiver fee paid to the centre does not provide any insurance cover for your own items or third party liability cover.
If your travel insurance does not provide cover for damage to your own or rented equipment, or third party liabilty insurance, you can take Activity Top UP insurance here >
Q. Which vaccinations/visas do I need?
Certain countries require vaccinations certificates, in some cases if you are travelling on from other countries. We would recommend that you obtain up-to-date information from your doctor or travel clinic as the regulations can change at short notice. Required vaccinations and visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller and if not complied with, may result in refused travel.

General Healthcare - please note the following.
Exposure to sunlight.
Everyone enjoys soaking up the sunshine especially when on holiday, however please take care in ensuring that you always use a high factor sun screen and take enough supplies with you for your trip as supplies may not be available when you arrive in resort. The sun's rays are particularly strong when on the water due to the reflection. We recommend a Factor 50+ waterproof sun block is applied at all times.
Scuba Diving and Other Sports
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and able to scuba dive or participate in other sports safely. If you have any health worries please check with your GP before you travel that you are able to dive and have the necessary documentation with you if required by your insurance cover. All scuba diving centres will require you to sign a certificate before diving to state you have not re-existing medical conditions that preclude you from diving. Some countries, such as Spain, require you to have a medical practitioner sign a specific document before arrival stating your are fit and healthy to dive. More >
Please ensure that you and your party were protective footwear, especially when diving around coral reefs and always follow the advice of the sports centre.
