Egypt is the Land of the Pharaohs, with abundant historical sites to visit and is the perfect paradise for year round diving holidays. The choice of hotels is vast and there is something to suit all tastes and budgets. Why not explore some of the ancient sites with an excursion to see the Pyramids or Tuthankhaun’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
The crystal clear warm water and some of the best and most established dive centres in the world to choose from, make Egypt a wonderful experience for both first timers and annual ‘pilgrims’ alike. Each destination offers it own special character and variety of diving.

Enjoy the ideal luxury liveaboard, custom built, with thirteen en-suite double cabins with twin and queen beds. Air-con spacious salon, Arabian cafe & 100m2 sun deck. Dive sites include Shaab Rumi, Umbria wreck, Angarosh, Sanganeb and Shaab Saudi. These are powerful boats with stablisers which get you to the dive sites quickly and in comfort.

Cabins
There are 13 en-suite double cabins with 10 twin and 3 queen bed accommodations on the lower and main deck. The spacious, elegantly designed cabins are perfect for relaxing with bed linens and towels are provided.
Facilities
The spacious lounge area is air-conditioned and well equipped with an LCD TV / VCR, DVD and CD player and furnished according to European style. Meals are buffet style, 3 times a day served with mineral water, tea, coffe (Nescafe), unlimited soft drinks (Cola/Fanta/Sprite) fruit and snacks available. A limited supply of alcohol beverages are provide at an additional charge locally. The Arabian Cafe is a separate room on the upper desk with with shisha (waterpipe), coffee, tea and original Arabic music. The spacious 100m2 sun deck is sleek with seated, shaded areas, comfortable deck chairs and cushioned seats with separate smaller sun deck.. There is a smaller sun deck in front of the captain’s bridge. WiFi is provided where coverage is available.
Diving Facilities
The large dive deck and dive platform area ensures a good amount of space for divers and groups who wish to enter the water at the same time. 2 hand-held showers on the platform allow for a rinse after diving or snorkeling. There is also storage for camera equipment. A bathroom with shower and marine head leads directly off the dive deck.
Equipment on Board: The liveaboard includes one 12l aluminium tank per person and weights.Nitrox is available and subject to a small fee payable locally on board. There are 20 x 12lt and 10 x15lt aluminum tanks, K valves, DIN and INT with international adaptors on board. Weights are provided at no charge on the boat. There are 2 Zodiacs, each equipped with a 40HP engine. There is storage space provided for personal equipment.
Rental of diving equipment can be arranged but should be booked well in advance and is subject to availability as rental gear is not kept on board. If you require a 15l tank this will be subject to an additional charge locally.
Itineraries: Usually 3 dives per day with options for night dives Options for the North Tours (1 week), South Tours (1 week), Deep South Tours (1 & 2 weeks), Ultimate Sudan (5 days).
North: Absolutely pristine, untouched reefs, amazing corals in thousands of colours, huge schools fish and many sharks. Jacques Cousteau made these sites famous and you can still see and explore parts of his underwater observatory. Visit Angarosh, world famous shark dive and wreck of the Umbria.
South: Sudan is known as the gem of the Red Sea and with reason! Untouched reefs, a splendour of corals in thousands of amazing colours, huge schools of fish and of course, sharks in abundance can be found here. No wonder that captain Cousteau built his underwater observatory here the parts of which can still be explored by divers. After visiting Angarosh, one of the most famous shark sites in the world, a really exciting wreck awaits us – the Umbria. Besides the beauties of the sea, we must also mention Suakin, the ghost town, which once was the main port in the Red Sea.
The following divng sites are included in the itineraries but diving at these locations is subject to local conditions and at the Captain's discretion.
