Situated off the south east coast of Florida and covering 100,000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, the Bahamas is a member of the British commonwealth, attracts visitors for it year round warm weather and high quality hotel accommodation. We offer the choice of a liveaboard or land resort based diving holiday.
Diving
For divers it is know for some of the clearest waters on the planet, and it's incredible diversity of marine life all next to incredible white and pink sand beaches. Bahamas diving is characterised by dramatics walls, lush coral reef and exciting encounters with marine life such including a wide variety of shark and wild dophins, found in the outer islands. Coupled with warm, crystal clear turquoise waters and spectacular drop offs found close to shore make for unforgettable dive experiences. For variety there are blue holes, caverns, shipwrecks plus vibrant, healthy reefs to suit both novice and experienced divers.
Culture and Activities
Nassau on the main island of New Providence Island, is one of 29 inhabited islands. To the south east are the Exuma Cays, which are made up of 350 small islands and cays, with remote dive spots, easily explored from the comfort of a liveaboad. Pristine diving is found in the deep cuts between the islands which attract shark, grouper and barracuda. With ocean walls, pinnacles, swim throughs, fast drifts, deep dives and wreck sites. the varied diving offers opportunities to see rare sights such as the Lemon goby. The wide variety of healthy, vibrant corals and numerous sites can be also explored on night dives.A long established diving destination, the wide variety of diving will be superbly experienced on our choice of liveaboard.
