Diving
Made up of over a thousand coral islands sitting either side of the equator in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives offers a huge choice of resorts or liveaboards. From here you have the perfect base for your diving allowing you to access the channels and lagoons that are brimming with the huge variety of sea life and soft coral that make this a mecca for divers. The choice encompasses gentle shallow routes to strong current drift dives with wrecks and pelagic focus. Highlights include the Pinnacles of Maaya Thila, with schooling fish, white tip reef sharks and, of course, manta rays. Majestically gliding in groups of up to 10 at a time to their cleaning stations. It is also possible to see whale and hammerhead shark at certain times.

Alternatively you can explore more remote locations such as outer north and south Atols aboard your choice of liveaboard. A liveaboard offers a unique way of experiencing the beauty of the Maldives. Liberating, exciting and diverse all at once, a liveaboard gives you the opportunity to enjoy many different dive sites. With the freedom to choose your schedule you can get away from the crowds and explore the Atolls and dive at the best locations.
