There are around 24 dive sites to visit, with many easy to access small reefs and wrecks. 16 sites are based around the Christchurch area accessed from Carliyse Bay just south of the main downtown to Oistins on the very southern part of Barbados. Culture and Activities
It's all about beach life in Barbados. You can take your pick from windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing or stand up paddleboarding. If the mood takes you, there are an array of companies offering jet ski, banana boat rides and paragliding all round the island. Or take a paddle boarding tour off picturesque Carlise Bay with Jason and his crew. It's worth hiring a car and heading up the West coast to the St James area if you want to splash the cash in the designer boutiques and a la carte restaurants. More locally, enjoy the bars and eateries at the St Lawrence Gap in the south Christchurch area overlooking the picturesque Dover beach. At dusk, the fish market in Oistins is the place to be, with the days catch cooked to order, reggae music blaring, Rum Punch flowing and everyone joins the 'jump up' for the all night street party.
