NEWLY FEATURED MARSA ALAM 4* HOTEL AND DIVE CENTRE
Located approximately a 30 minute transfer from the airport the Three Corners Equinox Beach Resort is a comfortable 4* hotel with an onsite SSI Dive centre with windsurfing and kitesurfing centre.
Marsa Alam Dive Centre - Marsa Alam, Red Sea and Middle East
The Dive Centre Equinox is a SSI dive centre situated on the beach at the Three Corners Equinox Beach Resort.
Location
Located approximately a 30 minute transfer from Marsa Alam airport, the Equinox Dive Centre is located at the Three Corners Equinox Beach Resort. Situated on El Nabaa Bay, the centre is directly on the beach with a spacious, weather-protected bay.
Facilities
Directly in front of the centre are two large wash sinks for suits, BCD’s etc as well as a sink for breathing regulators and cameras. The centre has a dry area, guest lockers, a shop selling tops, jackets, swimwear, reef guides, equipment, accessories and common spare parts, underwater camera rental, a mini bus, speed boat, daily boat and a house reef. Next to the centre, at the Three Corners Equinox Beach Resort is a bar. Snorkelers can rent equipment and book snorkel trips. The centres equipment includes; 60 sets of modern Aqualung equipment, 5 Junior divers sets of equipment, 200 12L Aluminum Tanks (DIN), 15L Aluminum Tanks (DIN), INT Adapter Available, 4 Apollo AV2 Scooters, Oxygen and First Aid equipment in the Center and on all trips plus free nitrox for Nitrox qualified divers. Lockable guest lockers for your own equipment are available.
Diving
The Centre has house reef diving which is perfect for introductory divers, excursions with the Zodiak, wreck tours, minibus or daily-boat diving, with all boat tours starting directly from the hotel's jetty. The diving is suitable for all levels with depths ranging from 5-40m, and the choice of reefs, drop offs, a house reef in front of the centre. There is a variety of hard and soft corals, fish, manatees, sharks, rays, moray eels, turtles, schools of barracuda, eagle rays, lionfish, pipefish’s and much more.
Dive Courses
The centre offers SSI extended range and SSI technical range programmes as well as PADI to Divemaster and CMAS up to *** and Pro-NRC up to 40% O2. Training is also available with the Apollo AV2 scooters (ages 12 and up) is offered, as well as child diving (starting at age 8).
