Paphos 5* Dive Centre is run by highly qualified PADI professionals, providing courses to suit divers of any abilities. With small groups per dive everyone the chance to explore the amazing dive sites the Mediterranean has to offer.
Location
The Paphos Dive Centre is a short walk along the coast from the 4* Almyra Hotel, with access to some of the islands best dive sites. Opposite the centre is the introductory dive site, and a 3 minute walk to the underwater classroom and dive boat.
Facilities and Services
The centre is a full service facility with changing rooms, hot showers, 2 custom built dive boats, and equipment store rooms. All equipment is serviced every 6 months, so you can be sure you're diving with the highest standard of kit. There is a dive shop and rental facility on site with the latest equipment in stock, and nitrox mixer tanks are available to qualified divers. For divers just starting out, the highly qualified multilingual instructors will take you through a beginner course. Starting out in the classroom for some theory, you will quickly move onto the purpose built dive pool before you take you first open water dive in the shallower dive sites. No matter what level you are, all group dives are limited to a 6:1 diver to instructor ratio to ensure the best learning conditions. The instructors are able to take groups out to some of the famous dive sites on the island, including ancient wrecks, swim throughs and wall dives, to explore the med waters and the all the marine life that lives there.
Diving
There is a vast range of dive sites to explore from Paphos, including a Greek cargo ship at 12 metres, swim throughs at 10 metres and pottery remains on the reef at 5 metres. If youre after deeper diving, sites at St George’s Island have caves and over hangs at 35 metres. Visibility ranges between 15-35m. PADI courses available include; Discover Scuba, Open Water Diver, Scuba Diver, Advanced Nitrox and Bubble Maker (ages 8-10)
Day trips to other dive sites around the island indluding 'Zenobia Wreck' and the Akamas National Park are also available to book.
