For your diving holiday to St Lucia - Caribbean, Anse Chastanet is located between 2 soft sand beaches with coral reefs just off shore and dive centre onsite.

Location
Set in a 600 acre hillside plantation on the southwest coast, bordering two soft, sand Caribbean beaches with pristine coral reefs just off shore. The hotel is 15 mins from Soufriere village and 60 mins from the Hewanorra international airport. The hotel has a private helipad approximately 5 minutes drive away.

Accommodation
Anse Chastenet Resort offers 49 individually designed rooms, 37 of which are scattered wthing he lush hillside and 12 which are nestled within a tropical garden at beach level. All are tastefully decorated with natural local materials each with ceiling fan, fridge, in room electronic safe, handmade bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, Molton Brown amenities, tea and  coffee facilities, complimentary bottled water, en-suite bathroom with shower and wc and private balcony or patio. An extra bed or twin beds can be provided on request in advance of arrival. All rooms have twice daily house keeping and free WiFi. 

Categories include:

Standard Hillside Rooms (approx. 32m²) can be located on either hillside or beachside with garden or partial sea view. Features include King size beds, coralina tiles, clay tiles or tropical hardwood floors, glass or wooden louvered windows, balconies with varying views. The category is based on a "run of house" principle which offer a  complimentary upgrade to superior or beachside deluxe location, at the Resort's discretion on arrival but never guaranteed.

Superior Hillside Rooms (approx. 37m²) are located at various levels on the hillside and they are octagonal or rectangular in shape and are slightly larger than the Standard Rooms. Features include King size beds, coralina tiles, clay tiles or tropical hardwood floors, glass or wooden louvered windows, balconies with varying Ocean or Piton views. 

Deluxe Hillside Rooms (approx. 65m²) The spacious hillside deluxe rooms are located at various hillside levels with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and/or St.Lucia’s Pitons. Features include King size beds, with either coralina tiles, clay floor tiles or tropical hardwood floors plus 2 sinks in the ensuite bathroom. Some hillside deluxe rooms have the fourth wall missing entirely whilst others have wooden louvre walls and open room dormers allowing for excellent natural airflow. Some of the Hillside Deluxe rooms have a formal separation between bedroom and living room, others are wide open spaces flowing into each other, with either coralina tiles, clay floor tiles or tropical hardwood floors, with patios and/or balconies.

Premium Hillside Room  (approx. 65m²) offer picture postcard perfect views of the St.Lucia’s Pitons – a Unesco World Heritage site and the surrounding Caribbean Sea by virtue of their location on the higher hillside level. Some Premium rooms have the fourth wall missing entirely, whilst others have wooden louvre walls which open to balconies/patios. All rooms have king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with 2 sinks, shower and toilet. 

Beachside Deluxe Rooms (approx. 69m²) The beachside deluxe rooms are generous in space with air conditioning. Features include King size beds, coralina or clay tiles and wooden jalousie louvre windows and large balconies or patios plus 2 sinks in the ensuite bathroom. All beachside rooms offer a tropical garden view and are just a few feet away from the beach and water's edge.

Piton Pool Suite "Casuarina"
Exquisitely finished with coralina stone tiles and hand crafted furniture made from tropical hardwoods. Casuarina is nestled amidst lush foliage in a private hillside setting at Anse Chastanet Resort, facing towards St Lucia’s famous Pitons mountains and the Caribbean Sea. The spacious bedroom with walk in closet opens to a 39m² open walled patio-living room area. The grand bathroom with Pitonview features a “Couples” Shower with two rain shower heads. Casuarina has a private 14m² pool surrounded by a pool deck of 12m².

Two bedroom Suites
Upon request, the suite can be connected to a second Casuarina Bedroom, creating an inter-connecting two bedroom two bathroom suite. Two bedroom 2 bathroom suites are available on request in advance of arrival. Suite/room combinations are available in Standard/Superior, Deluxe Hillside and Premium Categories. 

Please note: the resort is set on a Hill side with approximately 100 steps lead down to the beach from the mid hillside level. Children under 10 yrs not accepted except for months July, August and September


Facilities
The Anse Chastenet resort offers 3 restaurants serving Caribbean, vegetarian and international dishes. Choose from intimate hillside and beachside locations with private dining at the waters edge. Choose from dining options at the Anse Chastenet beach, Kai mer Spa cottage, with St Lucian Caribbean, creole and international plus vegetarian menues and grill dishes. Afternoon tea is served from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily in the Piton Bar, and an afternoon snack menu is also available at that time in both the Piton and Beach Bar. The two bars - Piti Piton Bar, the Treehouse Restarant and the Trou au Diable beach restaurant are open daily and offer a wide selection of tropical cocktails, beers, liquor including also fine malt whiskeys, eau-de-vies and after dinner drinks.  The resort advises the dress code in the evenings is smart casual. Gentlemen usually wear collared shirts and bermuda shorts or trousers in the evenings. Light cotton or linen clothing is the most comfortable. At lunch, we request dry clothing in the beach restaurant and a light cover up.Weddings and special arrangements are made for honeymoons from the hotel's dedicated coordinators.  


Spa and Activities
The Kai Mer spa is located high on the hillside offering specatacular sea view and offers massage both swedish, Shiatsu and aromatherapy treatments as well as Thai foot massage and relexology. In additional the resort has boutique gift shop, art gallery, diving centre, complimentary snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaks. There are sailing trips available aboard the resort's 42ft Gulstar sailing yacht, Champagne sunset cruises aboard the Lucky T catamaran, coastal boat trips and duty free shopping excursions as well as walking, hiking, bird watching and cycling/MTB tours from the Anse Chastenet 600 acre estate.
