A luxury local 5* Shams Prestige adults only all inclusive hotel in Safaga. This hotel offers an excellent standard of comfort, service and first class location for a learn to dive holiday with shore diving. The first class diving centre is located at the adjacent sister 4* Imperial Hotel.


Location
Shams Prestige Resort is located on the outskirts of Soma Bay, between the well-known Hotel Imperial Shams Abu Soma and our kitesurfing Center. It sits right on the beautiful sandy (private) beach. 


Accommodation
The boutique style resort consists of 67 charming rooms, arranged in one and two storey bungalow buildings. It features a non-smoking buffet restaurant, one terrace restaurant, a chill-out bar and a pool-/beach bar.

The bungalows are located on either side of the fresh water swimming pool (heated in winter). Beach and pool chairs and towels as well as parasols are provided free of charge.

Rooms: 25 standard rooms and 42 superior rooms. All double rooms are comfortably furnished with modern amenities such as walk-in shower, separate WC, hair dryer, walk-in closet (Superior only), air conditioning, flat screen TV with international channels, safe, telephone, mini bar, tea & coffee maker and balcony or terrace. Rooms either feature one king size bed or two double size beds. The standard rooms are about 40m² in size and are located on the ground floor in the second row, thus they only provide limited, partial sea view. The superior rooms are more spacious with 64 m². Most of them have direct sea views and feature a private Jacuzzi on the balcony or terrace.

Board Basis: All Inclusive - buffet breakfast between 7am and 10am at the main restaurant, lunch menu from 1pm – 3pm and dinner a la carte between 7pm and 10pm. Lunch and dinner will be served a la carte with a salad and dessert buffet. Also included at certain times are Ice cream, tea time with cakes & snacks, midnight snack, soft drinks 24 hrs, local alcohol, daily refill of the minibar with soft drinks and water, “Intro Dive” free diving introduction, one free massage per room (20 minutes), one free access to sauna and steam room per person, 30 minutes free internet per day.

Activities: Gym, squash, tennis, volleyball, billiards, table tennis and mini golf is free of charge (at Imperial Shams). A separate spa area will be opening soon between the Shams Prestige and Imperial Shams Hotels. The spa will offer sauna, steam room, whirlpool and various wellness and beauty treatments at extra charge.

Children under the age of 6 years are not allowed at Hotel Shams Prestige. Infants may be accommodated at the discretion of the hotel.


Diving
The centre is on the beach at the Hotel Shams in Safaga, next door to the hotel. Multi-lingual staff members guide and monitor all diving activities. PADI courses from beginner to dive master and also children’s courses are available. A friendly atmopshere in a great beach location. More >
