For your diving holiday to Safaga, the Imperial Hotel is a comfortable all-inclusive hotel set directly on the beach with the dive centre a few minutes’ walk away.

Location
Directly overlooking the beach, approximately 45 minute drive south of Hurghada airport, 7km north of Safaga and approximately a 5 minute walk to the dive centre. Nestled in the foot of Soma Bay the hotel is located in between the sister hotels, 3* Shams Safaga and 5* Shams Prestige.


Accommodation
322 comfortable air conditioned rooms set around the pool with full or partial views of the sea/ pool. Room categories include Standard, Superior Duplex or Superior Seafront. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child in a Double Room, 3 adults in a Triple Room, or 2 adults and 2 to 3 children in a Family Room with connecting rooms available on request. WiFi is available with an extra charge payable locally.

The Standard Rooms are comfortably furnished with air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom, satellite TV, safe box, mini-fridge, phone, a balcony or terrace and for an extra charge.

The Superior Duplex rooms are approximately 40m², with a sitting room, small kitchenette (not equipped for cooking), ensuite bathroom and a balcony. The mezzanine upper floor features the bedroom and a small bathroom.

The Superior Seafront rooms are approximately 30m² in size, with a larger balcony, with a Jacuzzi and panoramic views of the bay and sea.
 

Facilities
The hotel is all inclusive; this includes buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner plus a teatime and late snack menu. Drinks are served by the glass (with set times) soft drinks, mineral water, local beer, wine and spirits. Internet access and WiFi are available in the hotel at an extra charge. The hotel offers 3 restaurants; including 2 á-la-carte Italian and Oriental restaurants (reservations required) as well as a coffee shop, internet café, pool and beach bars.

There are 2 swimming pools (one heated in the winter months), a children's pool, sun terrace, spa centre and fitness room. Tennis, squash, volleyball, football and table tennis facilities are available. Massage’s, a jacuzzi and sauna are available with an extra fee. The Shams Spa Centre is independently managed and located at the hotel. There is an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, Egyptian Hammam, beauty salon or a specialist massage treatment such as a Chocolate Oil, Oasis Stone, Pharaoh Massage or full body Sea Weed scrub. All services are payable locally for an additional charge. The Shams scuba diving centre is located on the beach in front of Hotel Shams a short walk along the beach. Tennis, squash, volleyball, football, gym, billiard and table tennis are all available.

Children up to 5 years stay free of charge and for children between 6-12 years discounts of up to 50% are available. Extra facilities for children include a Kids’ pool and play-ground and Kids Club for children from 4 to 12 years.
