Bandos Island Resort and Spa offers a choice of luxurious accommodation, superb dining options and a range of leisure options.

Location
Conveniently located just 7km from Malé International Airport, this idyllic resort is billed the ‘Island of Hospitality’ for its personal service.

Accommodation
A total of 215 rooms with stylish contemporary style with wooden features. Each room features air conditioning, mini fridge, IDD telephone, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, in-room electronic safe. There is a choice of accommodation options as follows:

Classic Room (30m²) Located within the heart of the island. King size beds with garden view and ensuite bathroom with bath tub shower and hair dryer. Maximum capacity 2 adults.

Standard Room (37m²) Located on the NW side of the island, featuring thatch ceiling and private patio area for a local island style ambience. Double or twin beds with 1 extra bed on request with beachfront view (some with limited sea view due to vegetation) and wet-room style bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Maximum capacity 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 1 Child.

Deluxe Room (53m²) Located on the NE side of the island, featuring more spacious accommodation with interconnecting rooms, ideal for families, with four poster beds and generous bathroom space. King or twin beds with 2 extra beds and 1 crib available on request with beachfront view (some with limited sea view due to vegetation) and wet-room style bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Maximum capacity 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Child plus 1 infant.

Garden Villas (37m²) Located near the swimming pool and other resort amenities, featuring a Thatched roof, Maldivian style architecture, outdoor decking within the garden area. King bed with 1 extra bed available on request with garden view and wet-room style bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Maximum capacity 3 adults.

Jacuzzi Beach Villa (109m²) Located directly on the beach overlooking the lagoon on the south side of the island surrounding by tropical flora, featuring a traditional thatched roof, with separate living and sleeping areas and stunning beach view from your private, shaded balcony with jacuzzi. King bed with 1 extra bed or 1 crib available on request with open air bathroom with shower. Maximum capacity 3 adults.

Jacuzzi Pool Villa - Sea View (89m²) Located on the NE edge of the island for seclusion and comfort with luxurious, modern facilities, spectacular sea view and private infinity pool with Cabana-style sun deck. King bed with modern bathroom with jacuzzi and bathrobes. Maximum capacity 2 adults.

Facilities
Bandos Islands offers a fine dining experience with choice of indoor or outdoor dining experiences including private dining or romantic dinners on the beach The main Koon Thai Restaurant serves delicious, authentic Thai cuisine in elegantly designed surroundings with outdoor deck overlooking the lagoon. The Sea Breeze Cafe with large overwater deck is open round the clock, with a la carte and snack/light menu options. The Huvan Bar is open from 7.30am to midnight and is located at the end of the overwater jetty. It is the perfect place for a refreshing cocktail with stunning views at sunset. In addition, the Sand Bar provides a busier atmosphere with live band or disco evenings and karaoke. During the day, the Pool Bar offers a variety of juice drinks along with soft ice creams and milkshakes.

The fresh water swimming pool, with wading pool for children, provides a comfortable area to relax. The  Orchid Spa specialised in revitalising Asian and Balinese treatments from facials and massages to signature packages including couple’s massage therapies, beauty and skin therapies, hot and cold jacuzzis, steam bath and sauna also available.The Paradise Club offers a fitness suite with gym equipment, volleball and flood lit tennis court. The Watersports Centre offers catamaran and windsurf sailing, snorkelling trips on the house reef, parasailing, wake and kneeboarding, fun tubes and kayaking. The Kokko Kid's club (3-12 years) is open daily with a variety of activites. Babysitting is available bookable locally for an additional charge.  A souvenir shops offers a choice of gifts.

An All Inclusive Package is now available at Bandos Island Resort & Spa. Included in the package is breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Gallery restaurant, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the Sand Bar, Sundowners Bar and Gallery restaurant. The package also offers a variety of sports and entertainment.

Diving
Dive Bandos is one of the longest established centres in the Maldives. The Dive Centre is a spacious facility complete with air-conditioned audio visual classrooms, library, hot water showers and large storage rooms. The convenient location of Bandos in the southern part of the North Male Atoll offers access to over 40 impressive dive sites.

Dive Courses
Dive Bandos offer wide range of PADI courses with multi-lingual instructors are able to conduct courses with all the requisite teaching materials in these languages. Courses available include: Bubble Maker (8+ years), Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, Scuba Diver upgrade, Referral Course and Open Water Diver, Nitrox Diver,  Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Adventure Diver, Specialty Diver and EFR (Emergency First Response) plus Dive Master.

Bandos Medical The medical centre, with a decompression chamber and hyperbaric chamber, is available at all times should you need it. While diving, all guests should have insurance to cover dive accidents. If divers do not have appropriate insurance DAN short term packages are also available at Dive Bandos which will cover decompression sickness (DCS), and chamber treatments up to €6,000. Bandos Medical has two medical doctors, a general practitioner, a dive medical officer (European) and a nurse on location 24 hours a day.
