CAPE VERDES - GUIDE TO DIVING ON SAL ISLAND

The Dunas de Sal is a small modern, minimalist designed hotel with a restaurant, bar, fitness suite and spa services, set just back from the beach close to the scuba diving centre.

Location
Approximately a 20 minute drive from Sal International airport, Dunas de Sal is located across the road from the beach and around a 20 minute walk from Santa Maria.

Accommodation
The hotel has the choice of twin rooms, double rooms, superior double rooms, junior suites and master suites, all with a modern design, surrounding a courtyard. The rooms are equipped with an en-suite, a hairdryer, satellite TV, phone, safe and a mini bar. The sea view rooms are smaller with the same facilities but have a private balcony, the Suite has a spa style bathtub.

Facilities
The hotel is set in a garden and features a restaurant, terrace, 2 bars, 2 swimming pools, a sundeck with loungers, beach umbrellas and beach towels. The hotel has a lounge with a bar, open on one side overlooking the pool. There is also a fitness gym, a small spa area with beauty and massage treatments as well as a steam room. There is a comfortable lounge with wide-screen TV and business centre with internet access. Free WiFi is available in public areas. There is a scuba diving centre on site. The hotel offers a 24 hour front desk, luggage storage, free public parking nearby and an airport shuttle at an additional cost.
